Setting the Stage for the Blind Tasting

When the wines arrived, they were quickly whisked away by a tasting officiant to a private room where they were completely disguised so no evidence of the wine's identity would be apparent. Wine experts can sense a brand by the color of the glass or even the shape of the bottle!

Once the wines were ready to be poured, the tasters were asked to leave the tasting area so as to preserve the integrity of the blind tasting stage.

Once the wines were poured and the tasting was ready to begin, our tasters returned to the tasting area and proceeded to carefully swirl, smell and taste the wines.

The results are interesting!
